Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, is set to formally present the Prestigious Award of Excellence as Ambassador of Peace (AP) to ACP Dr. Emmanuel Wagbara tomorrow, following his nomination and confirmation by the Congress leadership.
In an official letter dated 17th November 2025, the ONC President General, Amb. Emeni Ibe (AP, JP), and the Secretary General, Pastor Isaac Nwachukwu, informed Dr. Wagbara of the decision of the Congress to honour him for his outstanding contributions to peace, security, and humanitarian service across Rivers State.
According to the letter, the nomination was approved during the 442nd meeting of the Congress held in Ahoada on 13th October 2025, where members unanimously endorsed Dr. Wagbara’s recognition for his “immense contribution to the service of humanity in the area of Promotion of Peace and security in Rivers State”
The ONC has proposed 21st or 22nd November, 2025, with the award now scheduled for tomorrow, as members and dignitaries prepare to celebrate an officer described as a beacon of peace-building and community service.
The Congress extended its congratulations to Dr. Wagbara and reaffirmed its commitment to recognizing individuals who advance unity, development, and peaceful coexistence in the Orashi region and beyond.
