I – INFRASTRUCTURE (THE BEDROCK)

ood Morning.
For hours, I have studied the 9-Pillars of ITESIWAJU: the governing blueprint of my leader, the All Progressives Congress APC Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2027 elections and the incoming Governor of OgunState, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA YAYI.
Many politicians have manifestos that are just beautiful paintings. ITESIWAJU is different. It is a complete Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical drawing. It has 9 alphabets, 9 pillars.
Today, we start from the soil test. The first alphabet: I – INFRASTRUCTURE.
IN MY PROFESSION, WE CLASSIFY INFRASTRUCTURE INTO 3:
HARD INFRASTRUCTURE: Roads, Bridges, Classrooms, Hospitals, Markets, Town Halls, Police Stations. The things you can see and touch.
SOFT INFRASTRUCTURE: Power supply (Transformers), Water (Boreholes), ICT Centers, Internet access. The things that make the hard infrastructure work.
SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE: Empowerment tools, school furniture, scholarships that make the people inside the building productive.
A good builder does not do only one, he does all three. If you build a school without chairs, you have built a warehouse. If you build a road without drainage, you have built a fish pond that will wash away in August.
Now, let us put Senator YAYI on the scale using his ANTECEDENTS as yardstick, not propaganda.
● THE LAGOS WEST TESTIMONY (2015-2023): A BUILDER WAS TESTED IN A MEGA-CITY: Lagos West is the largest Senatorial District in Nigeria – Alimosho,Ajeromi Ifelodun, Ikeja, Ojo, Badagry, Amuwo-Odofin, Ifako-Ijaiye. If you can build there, you can build anywhere in the world. What did he do? He did not do 100 meters of road and put billboard. He tarred over 10 major arterial roads like Adekoya Road in Ojo, Ilogbo Road, Idowu Street and Vespa Market road, all with standard drainage and stone base that are still solid till today. He installed 10 Nos of 500KVA transformers to power SMEs. He knew a tailor cannot sew in darkness. He sank 6 major solar powered boreholes for water-stressed communities. He built and fully equipped a Primary Health Centre in Badagry with beds, drugs and lab equipment. He supplied 750 classroom desks and built blocks of classrooms. In Lagos, his name became a standard: “YAYI EVERYWHERE YOU GO” not because he printed posters, but because his blocks were everywhere.
● THE OGUN WEST EVIDENCE (2023 – TILL DATE): THE RETURN OF THE MASTER BUILDER TO HIS FATHERLAND
Some people said “Lagos is different, let him come home”. He came home and in less than 24 months as Ogun West Senator, what do we see across Ipokia, Yewa South, Yewa North, Imeko-Afon and Ado-Odo Ota?156+ Classroom blocks built or fully rehabilitated not audio. Go to Ota, go to Ilaro, go to Imeko, you will see two-storey 18-classroom blocks with toilets, whiteboards and tiles. 3 State-of-the-art ICT Centers at Nazareth High School, Imeko; School of Nursing, Ilaro and AUD Comprehensive High School, Ota. He is building the youth for digital economy, not just giving them shovels. Several Completed Asphaltic Roads with drainages linking farm settlements to markets in Oja Odan, Ilaro, Agosasa, Ayetoro and the likes. Several Institutions supplied with modern furniture.Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Modern Library and OOU Aiyetoro Electrification. Several Markets, Town Halls, Police Stations and scores of transformers.
My people, this is a man spending his constituency project fund like a Governor. Tell me, if you give him the entire Ogun State budget, what will he not do?
Under YAYI’s ITESIWAJU Infrastructure plan, every senatorial district will be treated as a structural axis. Ogun West that has been abandoned for 48 years will get a balanced beam. Ogun Central will get reinforcement. Ogun East will get consolidation. His blueprint says: No more abandoned projects. No more audio commissioning. Every project will have the bills, timeline and quality control. As builders say: “You don’t manage cracks, you treat the foundation” Ogun State needs a Governor who knows the difference between 16mm and 12mm iron rod and not one who will be deceived by contractors.
