Buruj Sports Academy Young Talents Make Nationwide League One Debut

Buruj Sports Academy has continued to build a reputation for developing exceptional young football talents as Tunmise Todowede and Kingsley Nweke made their Nationwide League One (NLO) debut today against G12 FC at the National Stadium.

Tunmise Todowede, a gifted 13-year-old midfielder and SS1 student, alongside Kingsley Nweke, a promising JSS2 student and striker, stepped onto the pitch to begin their journey in Nigeria’s third-tier league system.

Their achievement is another major milestone for the academy and further highlights Buruj Sports Academy’s commitment to giving young players early exposure to competitive football while combining sports with education.

This latest development brings back memories of 2023, when Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen was discovered during the Nationwide League One season after making history as one of the youngest players to feature in the competition at just 13 years old. His breakthrough in the NLO opened the door to greater opportunities, eventually earning him recognition with Nigeria’s U-15 national team setup and international youth tournaments.

Today, Tunmise and Kingsley follow a similar pathway, showing that Buruj Sports Academy remains a platform where young talents are given the opportunity to shine, develop, and pursue bigger dreams in football.

Congratulations to Tunmise Todowede and Kingsley Nweke on their memorable Nationwide League One debut. The future looks bright for these young stars as they continue their development with Buruj Football Club and Buruj Sports Academy. ⚽
