Buruj Sports Academy has officially welcomed Onyegwalu Izuchukwu Michael, a 13-year-old SS1 Commercial student from Anambra State, to its residential programme for the 2026/2027 academic and football season.
The academy announced Izuchukwu’s enrollment today, describing him as the newest member of the Buruj family.
“We are delighted to have you as part of the Buruj Play & Study Residential Programme,” the academy stated in a welcome message.
Buruj Sports Academy runs a full residential model that combines elite football training with formal academics. The programme is designed to develop young talents both on the pitch and in the classroom.
Izuchukwu, an SS1 Commercial student, will be expected to balance his studies with intensive football development under the academy’s coaching and welfare structure.

Management, coaches, and fellow students of the academy extended a warm welcome to the youngster from Anambra State.

With the addition of Izuchukwu, the academy says it remains committed to nurturing the next generation of scholar-athletes who will excel in both football and academics.
