ONC PG, Amb. Emeni Ibe Condoles With Family Of Izevie Akpadun Over His Passage 

The President General of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has condoled with the family of Mr. Izevie Akpadun over his untimely passage.

 

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the leadership and entire members of the notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Amb. Ibe described the late Akpadun as a committed son of Orashi land who dedicated himself to the growth of the region.

“On behalf of the leadership and entire members of the Orashi National Congress, I condole with the family of Mr. Izevie Akpadun over his death,” he said.

 

Amb. Ibe noted that over the years, Mr. Akpadun actively participated in activities aimed at improving the Orashi region and the Niger Delta at large.

“Mr. Izevie was one of those who consistently showed concern for the development of our communities. He lent his voice and energy to issues that mattered to our people. He will be sorely missed,” the ONC PG stated.

He added that the contributions of the late Akpadun to peace, unity and advocacy for host community development will remain part of the group’s collective memory.

Amb. Ibe prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and asked God to grant the bereaved family the strength to bear the huge loss.

“We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss,” he said.

The ONC President General assured the Akpadun family of the Congress’ support and solidarity during this difficult period, and urged them to take solace in the good legacies their son left behind.
