The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, AKOD, has congratulated Hon. James Abiodun Faleke on his appointment as Deputy Director-General, Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement, Comrade Dauda described the appointment as a recognition of Hon. Faleke’s experience, commitment and contributions to the growth and success of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He noted that Hon. Faleke played a pivotal role during the 2022/2023 presidential campaign and has continued to demonstrate capacity in party organization and grassroots mobilization.
The Ikeja Council Chairman expressed confidence that the lawmaker would bring his wealth of experience, strategic leadership and mobilization skills to bear in the new assignment.
“I have no doubt that Hon. Faleke will deploy his wealth of experience, strategic leadership and grassroots mobilisation skills to ensure effective planning, coordination and monitoring for the success of the APC in the coming elections,” he said.
Comrade Dauda also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Governor Hope Uzodimma and other members of the campaign council.
He urged the Council to work together in unity and purpose towards securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
The council boss wished Hon. Faleke success in his new role and assured him of the support and prayers of the people of Ikeja Local Government.
He prayed that the new responsibility would translate to greater gains for the party and for Nigeria.
