The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has expressed shock and sadness over the sudden, tragic passing of a notable businessman and distinguished son of the state, High Chief Okey Ezeibe, in Owerri recently.
In his condolence remarks signed by Christian Aburime, the Chief Press Secretary, Governor Soludo stated that High Chief Ezeibe’s unexpected exit has left profound pains in the hearts of many who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him as a prominent Lagos-based business mogul and politician.
The Governor described the late founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Motors (Legacy Urban Peony Services Limited) as an accomplished entrepreneur who contributed significantly to the nation’s economic landscape through his businesses and impactful leadership as a former President of the influential Balogun Business Association (BBA) in Lagos.
Beyond his impressive business acumen, High Chief Ezeibe will also be fondly remembered for his exemplary character as a simple, easy-going gentleman who interacted with people from all walks of life with genuine warmth, and humility.
Thus, Governor Soludo extended his condolences to the family, friends, and associates of High Chief Okey Ezeibe, praying that the Almighty God grants his soul peaceful rest.
