The drive to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and expand voter engagement for the APC ahead of the forthcoming elections received a boost as the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), presented a Toyota Sienna vehicle to the Ikeja Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Lawal Okorejior.
The vehicle, presented alongside the Ikeja APC Chairman, Hon. Adetoro Adebowale, at Ikeja House, fulfils Comrade Dauda’s earlier commitment to support the movement’s planned mobilisation and voter sensitisation activities across Ikeja.
Receiving the vehicle, Okorejior expressed appreciation to the Ikeja LG Boss, Comrade Dauda and pledged that the movement would intensify its grassroots engagements, mobilise supporters and sensitise residents on the APC’s candidates and programmes ahead of the elections.
He reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election, Lagos APC governorship candidate, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Hon. James Faleke for Ikeja Federal Constituency and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
The movement also pledged to intensify PVC collection and voter participation campaigns across Ikeja to encourage eligible residents to take an active part in the elections.
The gesture reflects Comrade Dauda’s commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation and providing logistical support for the APC’s electoral activities in Ikeja.
