
Two prominent royal fathers from Ogun Central senatorial district and their Chiefs have expressed strong support and offer their blessing for Senator Solomon Adeola, APC governorship candidate and his deputy Alhaja Kudirat Balogun to become the next governor and deputy of Ogun State.

In seperate courtesy visits by the senator and his deputy to Osile Oke Ona Egba, Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuoso and the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Jacob Omolade in their palaces in Abeokuta, the due commended the Senator for his facilitation of widespread and noticeable infrastructural development, not only in his senatorial district but across other districts in Ogun state including their domains.
While commending the senator for road and solar street light projects and his yearly goodwill gesture toward him state that, “ I am sure we have not met physically for more than two or three occasions. But for the past 10 years I always get your Christmas hampers and look forward to an opportunity to thank you. I appreciate your gesture. As a son with maternal link to Oke Ona and your association with my family, I urge all my chiefs to continue their support for you to do more”.

The revered medical doctor royal father requested the senator to assist in rehabilitation of a link road between Ijemo and Ake Centenary Hall which was accepted to be done by the senator.
Also speaking at the occasion the Osi of Egbaland, High Chief Bode Mustapha stated that Senator Adeola has done exceptionally well with his offices since he began to aspire for about 13 years ago stressing that he is sure that Senator Adeola in two years will perform outstandingly.

The president general of Ogun State Baales Council, Baale Tunji Falola said all Baales numbering over 3000 in Ogun State have openly endorsed based on his development facilitations and regular benefit extended to Baales including the donation of a new bus during the senator’s 57th birthday.
The Olubara of Ibara, Oba Omolade reiterated his support and participation in ensuring that a Yewa person becomes Governor of Ogun State over the years adding that on the day of emergence of Senator Adeola, the whole palace went into wild jubilation.

The 94 year-old king, who retired as a permanent secretary in civil service, stated that his emergence is in tandem with equity and justice in Ogun State 50 years history stressing the Senator’s performance for the will ensure victory at the poll.
Senator Adeola on the two occasions thanked the royal fathers for their support and blessings of his aspirations stressing he will ensure that what belongs to Ogun State stays in Ogun state as governor.

“ I want to thank my royal fathers for their support and blessings. I will not take it for granted. My opponents have nothing to offer or counter my development strides across the state and are now resorting to frivolity of origin and lies. I am from. Ogun State from my mother and father side. I remain focused on my goal and will not join them in their frivolities and lies” he stated.

The APC governorship candidate was accompanied to the event by Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako, Minister of State for Health and Social Services, Alhaji Ganiyu Hamzat, Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon Oludotun Taiwo, Ogun State Commissioner for Forestry and Hon Laolu Olabimtan, Ogun State Commissioner for Budget and Planning
