It was a moment of pride and celebration as the Tinubu-Ambo Support Group received official recognition from the All Progressives Congress (APC) national headquarters, Abuja. The recognition came with an approval letter duly signed by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, formally acknowledging the group as an approved Support Group under the party’s structure.
This milestone is not only a testimonial to the credibility and hard work of the group but also a reflection of the enduring leadership of His Excellency, Akinwunmi Ambode, former Governor of Lagos State, who has consistently demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the political success of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Director General, Hon. Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, alongside the entire executive team and Local Government coordinators, expressed deep gratitude to the APC national headquarters for this recognition.
Bamigbade reaffirmed the group’s readiness to work within the party’s rules and regulations while mobilizing vigorously for President Tinubu’s second-term bid in 2027.
The DG also emphasized that this recognition further strengthens the resolve of the Tinubu-Ambo Support Group to champion not only the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR but also the political comeback of their principal, His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode, to return as Governor of Lagos State in 2027.
According to Pius Ade Babaleye, the National Director of Media and Information, the group has pledged unwavering dedication, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization to ensure the continued success of the APC and its progressive agenda for Nigeria and Lagos State.
