The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dayo Israel, on Friday evening hosted the President of the Senate, His Excellency Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON, for an engaging interactive session themed “An Evening with the Senate President” at the APC Youth House in Abuja.
The event convened young leaders, professionals, and members of the APC Youth Wing for an inspiring evening of mentorship and dialogue themed “Legacy. Journey. Experience.”
Dr. Dayo Israel conveyed deep appreciation to the Senate President for honoring the invitation and for his steadfast commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment within the party. He lauded Senator Akpabio as a transformational leader whose remarkable journey in governance continues to inspire a new generation of emerging leaders.

In his address, Senate President Akpabio shared profound insights drawn from over two decades of public service. He highlighted the importance of preparation, mentorship, and consistency in leadership, urging young people to build capacity and remain steadfast in their commitment to national development.

The event, which featured a fireside chat, an interactive Q&A session, and the presentation of a souvenir to the Senate President, highlighted the APC Youth Wing’s continued commitment to nurturing leadership development and promoting intergenerational collaboration in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
