
Nigeria’s Ambassador-Designate to Germany, His Excellency Senator Ita Enang, OFR, and officials of the Nigerian Mission in Germany received the immediate past Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON, in Hamburg, Germany.
Prof. Osinbajo was in Hamburg for the 2026 Hamburg Sustainability Conference, which which held from June 29–30, 2026, where global leaders discussed sustainable development, international cooperation, climate action, technology, and new models of development financing.

The former Vice President participated as Co-Chair of the Future of Development Cooperation Coalition, a global initiative working to rethink development cooperation beyond the old aid-dependent model, especially at a time when many developed nations are reducing development assistance to developing countries.

His presence at the conference further reinforced Nigeria’s voice in global conversations on development, innovation, climate action, and a fairer future for emerging economies.
