
The leadership of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress (ONC), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sir/Cate. Shamiah Awari, the father-in-law to respected media personality, Segun Precious.
In an official condolence message signed by the President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), the apex socio-cultural body sympathized with the bereaved family, especially Segun Precious and his wife, describing the death as a painful and irreplaceable loss.
The statement, addressed to the family, noted that the demise of Sir/Cate. Shamiah Awari has created a vacuum that would not be easily filled. The ONC leadership acknowledged the grief and emotional burden that accompanies the loss of a father and prayed for divine strength for the family during this difficult period.
“We pray earnestly that the God Lord will grant you and your family the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the statement read.
The Orashi National Congress reaffirmed its solidarity with the family and urged them to find comfort in the cherished memories and legacy left behind by the deceased.
The organization concluded by asking the family to accept its heartfelt condolences.
