The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has hailed His Royal Highness, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, Dabaye Amakiri I, Amachree Ekpeke, Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri, Elem Kalabari, describing him as a prominent voice for human development, education, security and community empowerment in the Niger Delta.
In a statement, the President General of ONC, Ambassador Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, commended the Kalabari monarch for his sustained commitment to empowering people and creating opportunities for young Nigerians.
Ambassador Ibe noted that HRH Dokubo-Asari has supported more than 300 individuals through various levels of education, from undergraduate studies to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes.
“Through his commitment to education and human capital development, he has helped young people pursue opportunities that can transform their lives and communities,” he said.
The ONC President General said the monarch’s advocacy has consistently focused on the interests of the Kalabari people, the wider Niger Delta region, and Nigeria as a whole, with increasing emphasis on empowering people and developing human capacity.
Ambassador Ibe also highlighted the monarch’s involvement in security through his initiative, Amama Soldiers, which has engaged thousands of youths across different parts of Nigeria.
He said the platform has become associated with community security efforts, particularly in areas prone to kidnapping and other criminal activities.
“For instance, the Emohua–Kalabari corridor has experienced increased attention to security, with Amama Soldiers playing a role in supporting safer movement and protecting communities,” Ibe stated.
The ONC PG further noted that hundreds of people have reportedly benefited from the monarch’s intervention in healthcare through free medical treatment and other forms of assistance.
“For many of his admirers, his greatest strength lies in his determination to invest in people. From education and healthcare to youth empowerment and community security, his activities reflect a broader emphasis on human capital development and the wellbeing of the people,” Ambassador Ibe said.
