“This cherished cultural festival symbolizes thanksgiving, unity, prosperity, and the preservation of our rich heritage. It is a time to appreciate God for a bountiful harvest and to celebrate the values that bind our communities together,” Amb. Ibe stated.

As celebrations continue across Egi communities, the ONC President General urged all sons and daughters of Egi to mark the occasion in peace and order.

He encouraged everyone to celebrate with moderation, respect for constituted authorities, and consideration for one another to ensure the festival remains memorable for the right reasons.

“Let us use this period to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, promote peaceful coexistence, and uphold the dignity of our culture,” he added.

The Orashi National Congress prayed for a successful, peaceful, and joyous Egwu-Ogba Festival for the entire Egi people.
