The Orashi National Congress (ONC) Worldwide has extended its deepest royal condolence to the Royal Family of the late HRM Amuda Ginikanwa Everestus, Nze-Obi of Egbema Ancient Kingdom, and the entire Egbema Kingdom, over his painful demise.
In a condolence message signed by its President General, Amb. Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, the ONC said it received the news of the monarch’s passing with heavy hearts and total submission to the will of Almighty God.
“The passing of a King is not just the loss of a family, but the loss of a whole kingdom, a culture, and a people,” the group said.
The ONC described the late monarch as a father to all, a custodian of the rich tradition of the people, and a symbol of peace, wisdom and unity.
“His reign brought honour and dignity to Egbema Ancient Kingdom, and his legacy will forever remain in our hearts,” it added.
The Congress said in this moment of grief, it stands with the Royal Family, the Council of Chiefs and the entire Egbema Kingdom in prayers and in brotherhood.
It prayed that Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest and grants the Royal Family, the Council of Chiefs and the entire Egbema Kingdom the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the ONC said.
