The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its growing international recognition at the ongoing Africa International Defence Exhibition, AFRIDEX 2026, in Lagos.
In a statement signed by its President-General, Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe, the apex socio-cultural body of Abua/Odual, Ahoada West, Ahoada East and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas said the high-level recognition is a proud moment for Niger Delta security expertise.
ONC particularly noted the high-level visit by the Ukraine Defense Attaché, Embassy of Ukraine, and the United States military delegation to Tantita’s Booth 1115 on Day Two of the exhibition.
“This is not a routine booth visit. It is a clear validation of Tantita’s operational credibility and innovative, technology-driven security solutions on a global stage,” the Congress said.
The group also saluted the strategic engagement with Canadian firm SkyTrac, which identified Tantita as a prospective partner ahead of AFRIDEX.
According to ONC, the engagement signals international visibility, trust, and huge potential for cross-border collaboration in critical asset protection, maritime security and intelligence-led operations.
The Congress said Tantita’s journey from critical pipeline protection in the Niger Delta, where it restored national crude production and secured the nation’s economic lifeline, to shaping conversations on international defence cooperation, proves that world-class security expertise can come from the Niger Delta.
“This milestone reaffirms what we in the Orashi region have always known: When given the opportunity and trust, Niger Delta institutions deliver excellence, professionalism and results that the world cannot ignore,” the statement added.

ONC congratulated High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as well as the management and operatives of Tantita Security Services, for flying the Niger Delta flag high and strengthening Nigeria’s profile in the global security industry.
The Congress urged the Federal Government, international partners and the private sector to deepen strategic engagements with Tantita as AFRIDEX continues, for innovative approaches to security and critical national asset protection.
