The leadership and entire members of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, the apex socio-cultural organization of Orashi people worldwide, have joyfully joined the good people of Ogbaland, ONELGA, Rivers State and well-wishers across the world to celebrate its Grand Patron and revered monarch, His Eminence, Barr. Nwachuku Nman-Obi III, Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogbaland, on the occasion of his coronation anniversary.
In a press statement issued on 2nd October, 2026, and signed by its President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, the ONC said the celebration is not only about royalty but about fatherhood, leadership and unity.
“Today we do not only celebrate the distinguished monarch that you are, but also the wonderful father, leader and symbol of unity that you remain to us. Since your ascension to the ancient throne of Ogbaland, your reign has brought uncommon peace, unity, dignity and development to our land,” the statement read.
The Congress described the monarch as a father to all, a custodian of rich culture and tradition, and a strong voice for progress, justice and prosperity of the people. It noted that as Grand Patron of ONC, his royal counsel and fatherly support have continued to strengthen the organization and the entire Orashi nation.
The ONC prayed for continued divine blessings upon the throne.
“On this auspicious occasion, we pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you abundantly with good health, long life, divine wisdom, peace, strength, joy and abundant grace on the throne. May your reign continue to be marked by unity, peace, progress and prosperity throughout Ogbaland and the entire Orashi region. May your crown forever remain a symbol of honour, dignity, service and divine favour.”
