VJFM Fortuna midfielder, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, delivered a sensational performance, coming off the bench to score a second-half hat-trick in his side’s dominant victory over FK VENTA.
The match opened brightly for Fortuna, with Edmundas Dobilas finding the net in the 18th minute to give his side the lead. FK VENTA’s Orestas Lapukas was booked in the 34th minute before Fortuna doubled their advantage just before half-time, making it 2–0 at the 45th minute mark.
At the start of the second half, Fortuna made key substitutions, with Noah Abolaji Salaudeen replacing Nikolas Oskinis, while Rafiu Kazeem came in for Deisas Bradulis. Noah Abolaji Salaudeen wasted no time making an impact, striking in the 61st minute to extend the lead.
FK VENTA’s Domantas Jankevicius received a yellow card for a harsh challenge, and just five minutes later Noah Abolaji Salaudeen struck twice in quick succession — in the 71st and 72nd minutes — completing his hat-trick in spectacular fashion.
Fortuna’s sixth goal came through an unfortunate own goal from Jankevicius, before FK VENTA pulled one back from the penalty spot, making it 6–1. In the dying minutes, FK VENTA’s Domas Volodko also picked up a yellow card.
Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, who was already on an eight-goal streak before this fixture, has now extended his tally to 11 goals and 3 assists in 15 matches this season. His form has been remarkable, especially after scoring a brace just three weeks ago.
Notably, Fortuna missed his presence in last week’s defeat to FK Cementininkas, where he was ruled out due to illness. However, his emphatic return today underlines his growing importance to the squad.
With his current run, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen continues to establish himself as one of Fortuna’s most influential players this season.
