Defender Marcell Washington has completed his move to Arsenal and has been allocated the number 55 shirt, as shown on the club’s official website.
The left-back’s departure from his previous club Chelsea was confirmed at the end of last season.
Washington featured as a trialist for Arsenal in the second half of last season, playing eight times for the U21s and twice for the U18s.
17-year old Washington is set to sign a professional contract with Arsenal.
