Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi, the Distinguished lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, has facilitated and delivered an ultramodern, fully furnished Area Command Police Station in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The newly completed security facility, designed to strengthen policing operations, enhance public safety and improve the welfare of police personnel, is equipped with modern infrastructure and essential operational amenities and is located in the famous Celestial City of Nigeria.
The project includes two units of three-bedroom bungalows to provide residential accommodation for senior police officers, alongside a 30KVA generator and a 15KVA solar inverter system to ensure reliable electricity supply.
Other installations include air-conditioning systems, water supply facilities, modern furnishings and landscaping designed to provide a conducive working environment for officers.
The intervention reflects Senator Adeola’s commitment to strengthening security infrastructure and supporting the Nigeria Police Force in its responsibility to protect lives and property across communities in Ogun State.
The provision of residential accommodation within the facility is also expected to improve the welfare of personnel, enhance operational readiness and facilitate more effective coordination of security activities within Imeko-Afon and surrounding border communities.
The newly delivered Area Command Police Station represents another significant infrastructure intervention facilitated by Senator Adeola in Ogun West, complementing ongoing efforts to improve security, public infrastructure and community development across the state.
Through the project, the Senator has further demonstrated his commitment to addressing critical community needs by providing infrastructure that supports effective policing, strengthens public confidence in security institutions and contributes to a safer environment for residents and businesses.
The intervention also aligns with the broader developmental objectives of the Ogun State Government under Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, particularly in the areas of security, infrastructure development and improved public service delivery.
