The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has participated in the Lagos State Roundtable on Education Quality Assurance, aimed at strengthening educational standards and improving learning outcomes across the state.

The roundtable held at Protea Hotel, Ikeja, was organised by the Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance in partnership with Learners Corner Hub.
With the theme “Adopting Global Best Practice in Transforming Education Quality Assurance in Lagos State,” the engagement brought together education stakeholders to discuss ways to improve school monitoring, strengthen accountability and promote effective teaching and learning.

Comrade Dauda’s participation reflects the importance his administration places on education as a key driver of human capital development and grassroots progress.
The council reiterated that he remains committed to supporting initiatives that improve educational standards, strengthen school administration and create a conducive learning environment for pupils and students in Ikeja.
The engagement also reinforced the need for sustained collaboration between the state government, local governments and other stakeholders to build an education system that equips young people with the knowledge and skills needed for the future.
