Following the conclusion of the CFA U-17 International Invitational Tournament in China, Nigeria’s promising midfield duo, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke, have returned to the list of selected players for the Italian Consulate General Football Tournament and Italy Pre-Season Tour.
The two Golden Eaglets midfielders will continue preparations with the selected squad ahead of the football development programme in Italy, where they are expected to participate in intensive training sessions, friendly matches, and talent showcase opportunities before European scouts and clubs.
The Italy pre-season tour, organised in collaboration with the Italian Consulate General, Rudder Sports Management, and other football development partners, is aimed at providing outstanding young Nigerian footballers with valuable international exposure and pathways to professional football in Europe.
Raheem Salaudeen and Fawas Adeleke, both products of Buruj Football Club and Sports Academy, have continued to demonstrate their quality through consistent performances at national youth level. Their return to the Italy programme after the CFA Invitational Tournament further reflects the confidence reposed in their abilities and potential.
