Fubara’s Acceptance Of Nomination Form Signals Readiness For Democratic Renewal Of Mandate – Says ONC

Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has stated with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotic fulfillment that His Excellency, Siminalayi Fubara’s official acceptance of duly completed nomination form ahead of the scheduled screening exercise set for Friday, 8th May, 2026, signals readiness for democratic renewal of Mandate.
According to the ONC, as represented by the President General, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, this decisive step by Governor Fubara is not only timely but also a clear demonstration of his unwavering commitment to democratic principles, responsive governance, and the collective aspirations of the good people of Rivers State.
Amb Emeni Ibe stated, “We in the Orashi National Congress, extend our profound appreciation to Governor Fubara for listening to the overwhelming calls, yearnings, and genuine appeals from Rivers people across all strata—youths, women, traditional institutions, professionals, and party faithful—who have consistently urged him to continue his leadership journey. His acceptance stands as a bold affirmation that leadership anchored on service, humility, and people-centered policies will always resonate with the masses”.
