Comrade Dauda Hails Tinubu & Faleke As He Hosts NASENI Empowerment Programme In Ikeja

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has hosted the NASENI Sustainable Empowerment Programme in Ikeja, with selected beneficiaries receiving solar home systems, clean cookstoves and NASENI Packs.
The programme, held at the Blue Roof, Lagos Television (LTV), Ikeja, also featured training in Plaster of Paris (POP) installation and electrical maintenance to equip participants with practical skills for economic empowerment.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Khalil Suleiman Halilu, urged beneficiaries to make good use of the products and take the training seriously.
“Build the skills you require and use them to create value for yourself, your family and your community,” Halilu said.
Halilu also acknowledged the contributions of the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, among other stakeholders, towards making the intervention possible.
In his welcome address, Comrade Dauda thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to youth engagement and women empowerment, while commending Faleke for his support for initiatives that positively impact Nigerians.
Dauda also appreciated NASENI for bringing the empowerment programme to Ikeja, urging beneficiaries to take advantage of the training and products provided.
He said the intervention would help improve residents’ economic well-being by providing skills and resources they can deploy for productive purposes.
