The President General of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Ambassador Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has extended warm felicitations to Nigeria’s former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, GCFR, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message, Amb. Ibe said the day was an opportunity to celebrate an exceptional statesman whose life has been defined by service to the nation.
“Today, on behalf of myself, family and the leadership of the Orashi National Congress ONC, I join family, friends, associates, and well-wishers in celebrating an exceptional statesman, leader, and father figure, His Excellency, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on the occasion of his birthday,” he stated.
The ONC President General described Gen. Babangida as a leader of remarkable wisdom, courage and dedication whose contributions to national development continue to earn him respect across the country.
“Your Excellency, your life has been defined by remarkable service, wisdom, courage, and dedication to our nation. Your enduring contributions to national development, as well as your generosity and commitment to uplifting others, have earned you widespread respect and admiration,” Amb. Ibe said.
He also expressed personal appreciation for the bond the former Military President has shared with his family and the people of the Niger Delta over the years.
“On a personal note, I remain deeply grateful for the special bond you have shared with our people and our family over the years. Your enduring affection over the years has meant a great deal to me, and I remain sincerely grateful for it,” he added.
As IBB marks another year, Amb. Ibe prayed for God’s continued blessings upon him.
“As you celebrate another year, I pray that Allah grants you continued good health, peace, happiness, and long life. May He bless you with many more years of fulfillment, divine favor, and the love of family and friends.
