A highly respected personality, Mr. Umah Akeodi, is set to be honoured by notable apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, with the prestigious Award of Excellence.
According to the President General of the ONC, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, decision to honour Mr. Umah Akeodi was taken by the Congress during their deliberation on 1st December, 2025, in Ahoada Town.
Ambassador Ibe said, “The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has deliberated and concluded to honour Mr. Umah Akeodi with the Prestigious Award of Excellence”.
“On 1st December, 2025, the decision was taken by the Congress in recognition of his immense, exceptional and excellent performance in the discharge of his responsibilities in the service of humanity.”
“The decision is in line with the objectives of the Congress to always single out for honour and commendation any person or organisation with exceptional record of performance. The ONC therefore, deemed Mr. Umah Akeodi deserving of such prestigious honour.”
