The Mazi Organisation, TMO, said it is deeply saddened by the heartbreaking loss of innocent lives in Ndi‑Ejezie, Umualaoma and Ndiakuwata Uno, all within the Arondizuogu community of Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
In a statement signed by Cajetan Duke, the Spokesperson, The Mazi Organisation said, “We stand in mourning with the bereaved families and the entire community during this time of grief. These tragic events remind us all of the sacred value of human life and the urgent need to work together to protect it”.
“Our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the pain and trauma these incidents have caused. No parent should bury their child under such circumstances; no community should live in fear of senseless violence. On behalf of our principal, Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD, we extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the affected families.”
“While these dark moments challenge our faith and test our unity, they also call upon us-as leaders, citizens, and stakeholders-to rise above divisions and commit to genuine action that will restore peace and security. The safety of every Imo citizen must remain our highest priority.”
“The Mazi Organisation calls on all tiers of government, security agencies, community leaders, and civil society to redouble efforts in safeguarding our people. Let us work hand in hand to ensure that those responsible are apprehended and that our communities once again become havens of safety and dignity.”
“We believe that a future without such tragedies is possible when there is sincere collaboration, transparency, and accountability in security governance. We pledge our continued support to all lawful initiatives aimed at protecting our people and fostering peace.”
“As we grieve, we also hope-and we commit ourselves to action. Together, we can and must build an Imo State where every family feels safe, every child dreams freely, and every community thrives without fear.”
“May the souls of our dearly departed brothers and sisters, and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
