Lagos witnessed a historic moment on Monday 18th August as the Tinubu/Ambode Support Group officially commenced its INEC voter’s card sensitisation campaign across the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of the state.

The campaign, which kicked off with massive mobilization drives, was designed to encourage Lagos residents to participate fully in the forthcoming Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the Director General of the Tinubu/Ambode Support Group, Hon Seyi Bamigbade, the sensitisation marks the beginning of a decisive journey towards the realization of Tinubu/Ambode 2027. He stressed that voter registration and collection of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) remain the most critical tools for citizens to have a voice in the democratic process.

“The journey toward Tinubu and Ambode 2027 has just started, and it begins with voter sensitisation. Our people must be prepared, empowered, and mobilised to ensure their voices are heard at the ballot,” the DG declared.

The sensitisation exercise aims not only to promote civic responsibility but also to reaffirm the group’s commitment to grassroots mobilization, unity, and political participation in Lagos State.

Thousands of supporters across the state thronged the designated centres, with banners and placards carrying inscriptions on the importance of obtaining and safeguarding their PVCs. Observers noted that the level of enthusiasm showed that Lagosians are ready to take ownership of their democratic future.

The Tinubu/Ambode Support Group further reiterated that this campaign will be sustained until every eligible Lagosian is well informed and adequately prepared ahead of the 2027 elections.
