Respected groups, Southern Youth Foundation (SYF) and the Orashi National Congress (ONC) have joined family, friends, and well-wishers across the Niger Delta in celebrating the 50th birthday of Chief Dr Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
In a goodwill message, the two organizations described Dr. Ogbuku as “a selfless leader whose dedication to development, peace, and youth empowerment has left a lasting impact on the Niger Delta”. They noted that his golden jubilee marks not only a personal milestone but also a moment of pride for the people of the region.
According to the reputable groups, Hon. Ogbuku’s leadership at the NDDC has brought renewed energy to infrastructural development, youth-oriented initiatives, and community empowerment programs. The groups praised his vision of inclusive growth and called on Niger Delta youths to emulate his values of resilience, service, and commitment to humanity.
Leaders of the Orashi National Congress also emphasized Ogbuku’s deep ties to his community, describing him as “a son of the soil who continues to bring honor and recognition to the Orashi region through his achievements and leadership”.
As part of the celebrations, prayers were offered for his continued wisdom, strength, and long life in service to the people.
