The Southern Youth Foundation (SYF), under the leadership of Ambassador Emeni Ibe, has officially passed a vote of confidence on Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, endorsing him for a second term as President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
The resolution was reached in Port Harcourt after a strategic meeting of state representatives across the South. According to the SYF, Amb. Sukubo has demonstrated exemplary leadership, commitment, and resilience in advancing the cause of Nigerian youths during his tenure, hence the unanimous support for his re-election.
Speaking on the development, Amb. Emeni Ibe, President of the Southern Youth Foundation, highlighted the achievements of Amb. Sukubo, describing him as a unifying leader who has consistently defended the interests of young people across the country.
“We are convinced that Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe remains the right man to continue steering the affairs of the National Youth Council of Nigeria. His track record of service, advocacy for youth inclusion, and unwavering passion for development stand him out. For this reason, the Southern Youth Foundation has passed a vote of confidence on him for a second term,” Amb. Ibe stated.
The SYF further urged youths across Nigeria to rally behind Amb. Sukubo’s leadership, stressing that continuity will strengthen youth empowerment programs, foster national unity, and deepen democratic participation among young people.
With this endorsement, the Southern Youth Foundation joins other youth stakeholders calling for the re-election of Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo to sustain the progress achieved under his leadership of the NYCN.
