
An Executive Director of the National Maritime Administration & Safety Agency, Hon Chudi Offodile, has said that the inauguration of Professor Charles Soludo for a second term in office is an opportunity to consolidate the turn towards making Anambra State great.
Extending congratulations to Governor Charles Soludo on his March 17 swearing in, Offodile said the promising beginnings shown in the first four years of the administration needed to be taken to the next level.
Offodile, a former member of the House of Representatives, asked the Governor to see his wide victory in the November 2025 governorship election as a mandate for building up the foundation for development.
The former representative of Awka South & North federal constituency lauded the administration’s efforts on economic growth and provision of infrastructure. He endorsed the focused pursuit of economic targets, as well as protection and fiscal offered incentives to small businesses to thrive.
Hon Offodile commended the Governor’s plans to embark on housing schemes in the State, saying this was an area of urgent need. He identified housing, education and health as priority areas requiring greater government intervention, observing that at the end of the day, government was about the welfare of the people.
The NIMASA Director called on the people of Anambra State to support the Governor as he grapples with the task of governance. He however, counseled Soludo to ensure fair treatment of groups as well as equitable distribution of amenities and government opportunities.
