MEDITATION
Hold counsel within yourself, call yourself to a meeting where it’s just you at the podium and, you alone too at the audience. Take a moment to tell yourself the innermost truth so undiluted and devoid of deceit. Give yourself also a conscientious x-ray, and keep the result to yourself alone! Then, ask the pertinent questions to you, and yourself, present to yourself too, the sincere answers laced in truth, patriotism, humility and humanity. Are you truly emitting the same results (answers) to the beyond of your person to the outside of you in relation to the next person?
AS CREATED….
Humans are made by God to be multifaceted, that’s the reason God gave us the ability to choose between good and evil, and at that point made us responsible for the choices we make in life, therfore, the subconsciousness of the existence of heaven and hell. Simply put, the verifiability of rewards for our deeds, good or bad, knowing that humans are made of body and soul. Yes! The two compartment of the human existence is the body and soul, without divinity. For God alone is Divine!
FOR GOD’S SAKE
Recently, I’ve been so much perturbed about the situation of brotherly relationship in my dear town, the land of the giants, Osumenyi. And something in me keep crying aloud to my deafening hearing. As a devout patriot and *a proud onye Osumenyi,* it will amount to self denial, as well as destructive to my inner being if I take the route of self-suppression, and a monumental disservice to the few who would have heard and imbibe.
I SPEAK UP THEREFORE.
It’s heart wrecking that very many of us have found a comfortable abode in the mansion of self deceit and wishing away a monumental reality. A reality that we have so much adored in the past two decades to the detriment of the greater majority of our people who are considered the lower class. This is because we assume that the more powerful and previlleged men of the upper echelon flock and flow together at their own occasions without rancour. At this instance, some men of the lower cadre are always quick to announce to any listening ear that *”we have peace and that we’re peaceful people!”*
ODIEGWU REALLY…..
Imagine the rain without water, imagine the wind without air, can you really imagine fire with heat!? I want to mince words so as to keep this epistle within reach and read. With the current trend of economic attainment of our land, we simply seem like a giant animal pushed down asleep in amnesia. At the height of success, we completely forgot whom we are! *Peace without unity is a total assault to harmony, force and cohesion.* How much longer are we gonna lay flat so helplessly to the feasting vultures that merry on our ruins? How much longer shall we leave our doors open to the plunderer that loot our treasures away to the distant land of mockery? How much longer do we celebrate the misfortunes of our own as though we heaped gold? For how long shall some of us call the bluff of the rest of us as though they mean nothing, but at end meaning everything to all of us? We ought to have questioned our inner beings so long, and take the leap of self embrace.
LET ME REMIND US FFINALLY
With all the inherent financial energy as it is, is it not a time we at least buy ourselves some sense, or is it too costly to buy? Our local government of Nnewi South, was created (34 years ago) in the year 1991 by the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida, ever since, we have only been good enough as remoted followers with no mind of their own. Are we not even ripe enough to have the governor of Anambra state come from amongst us, at least now that we have the brightest of the chances? Shall we keep hallucinating in a kind of peace bereft of the complimenting unity? Does it mean that we cannot at least flock together in unity? I ask again, are we better of the way we are? Are we the cause, or are we cursed?
