The Arole Oduduwa, Olofin Adimula, Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has felicitated with the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, described the First Lady as a woman of virtue, compassion and exemplary service to humanity.
Ooni Ogunwusi noted that Senator Tinubu, from her time as the First Lady of Lagos State to her tenure as a Senator and now as Mother of the Nation, has consistently demonstrated leadership, moral strength, and commitment to the welfare of women, children, and the less privileged.
According to him, her initiatives and advocacy have advanced education, empowerment and humanitarian causes, thereby touching countless lives across Nigeria.
“As she attains the milestone age of 65, we pray for her renewed strength, abundant health and divine wisdom to continue supporting the noble vision of her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in steering the ship of our nation through a transformative era,” the statement read.
The Ooni further described Senator Tinubu as a “jewel of inestimable value, a matriarch of substance and a beacon of purposeful leadership,” while praying that her new age brings more impactful years of service to God, humanity, and the Nigerian nation.
“Igba odun, odun kan ni; afon a gbo ko to wo,” the Ooni added.
