ONC Welcomes Gov. Fubara & Deputy Gov. Ngozi Odu To Akabuka Civic Reception & Homecoming 

The Orashi National Congress, ONC, under the distinguished leadership of Amb. Emeni Ibe, has officially announced its warm reception of the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, and the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Prof. (Mrs.) Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, at a grand civic reception and homecoming ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, 25th October 2025, at GCSS Akabuka, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State.
The event, organized by the Akabuka community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA, is aimed at honouring Her Excellency Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, for her exemplary leadership, integrity, and outstanding contributions to the development of Rivers State and the advancement of women in governance.
The Executive Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour, while other top government functionaries, traditional rulers, community leaders, youth organizations, and women groups across the Orashi region are expected to be in attendance.
Speaking ahead of the event, Amb. Emeni Ibe, President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), described the homecoming as “a celebration of excellence, loyalty, and service to humanity.” He noted that Prof. Odu’s humility, dedication, and leadership have continued to inspire the people of the Orashi region and beyond.
“The ONC and indeed the entire Orashi Nation are proud of Her Excellency’s achievements. This homecoming is not just a ceremony but a reaffirmation of our collective appreciation for her selfless service and commitment to good governance,” Amb. Ibe stated.
The Orashi National Congress (ONC) also reiterated its unwavering support for the Fubara-Odu Administration, emphasizing that the duo’s leadership style has brought renewed hope, inclusiveness, and infrastructural progress across Rivers State.
