The President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Ken Nwabochi, following his emergence as the Eze-Igburu.
In a message of goodwill made available to the media, Amb. Emeni Ibe described the ascension of HRM Nwabochi to the revered traditional stool as “a testament to divine ordination and the will of the people”.
Ibe commended the peaceful and transparent selection process, which he said reflects the collective desire of the Igburu community for stable and visionary leadership.
“I join the good people of Igburu and the entire traditional institution in celebrating HRM Ken Nwabochi. His emergence comes at a crucial time when our communities and region yearn for purposeful and unifying leadership,” Amb. Ibe stated.
He expressed confidence in the new monarch’s capacity to steer the affairs of Igburu Kingdom with wisdom, dignity, and a deep commitment to cultural heritage.
The ONC President General emphasized that traditional institutions remain vital pillars for sustaining grassroots peace, fostering development, and preserving indigenous identity. He pledged the Orashi National Congress’ unwavering respect and support for the Eze-Igburu’s reign.
“On behalf of the Orashi National Congress ONC, I wish His Royal Majesty a long, peaceful, and prosperous reign filled with wisdom and the continued growth of our cultural heritage,” he added.
Amb. Ibe concluded his message with a rallying call to all sons and daughters of Igburu to unite behind their new monarch to advance the collective aspirations of the kingdom.
