
The President General of the Orashi National Congress, Amb. Emeni Ibe (JP, AP), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Minister Mrs. Godwin Blessing Unwortuwemezhi, describing her as a woman of virtue, faith, and selfless service to humanity.
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday, Amb. Emeni Ibe commiserated with the Godwin family of Okogbe Town in Ahoada West Local Government Area, urging them to take solace in the exemplary life their beloved matriarch lived.
He noted that the late Minister Mrs. Unwortuwemezhi was a devout Christian, a community leader, and a dedicated mother whose contributions to the spiritual and moral growth of those around her will be remembered for generations.
“Though her passing leaves a vacuum that cannot easily be filled, we are comforted by the fact that she lived a purposeful life, one marked by compassion, humility, and steadfast faith in God,” Amb. Ibe stated.
The Orashi National Congress, according to him, stands in solidarity with the family during this period of grief, praying for God’s comfort and the strength to bear the loss.
The burial ceremony of the late Minister Mrs. Godwin Blessing Unwortuwemezhi is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 15th November 2025, at her family compound in Okogbe Town, Ahoada West LGA, Rivers State, following a Service of Songs on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at the RCCG Beautiful Land Parish, Port Harcourt.
Amb. Emeni Ibe reaffirmed that the Orashi Nation celebrates her legacy of faith and love, even as they bid her farewell to eternal rest.
