
The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), has strongly commended the management of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, PINL, for engaging 35,000 youths from the region.
Speaking to the media on Friday 26th September, 2025, Amb Emeni Ibe said, “I use this medium to strongly commend the Management of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, PINL, for their remarkable achievements in employing over 35,000 youths in surveillance and providing transformative engagements”.
“This is unprecedented. The transformative engagements included – Scholarships: Providing educational opportunities for young people in the Orashi region.
– Skills Acquisition Programmes: Empowering youths with skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship capabilities.
– Other Notable Empowerment: Implementing initiatives that promote economic growth, peace, and development in the region.”

“We hereby call on the government to expand the engagement of PINL to also include gas pipeline and equally provide more funding.”
