Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ahoada Divisional Police Officer, CSP Jonathan Isichel.
The ONC, led by the President General, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), paid the visit on Monday, 8th September, 2025, at the Ahoada Divisional Police Headquarters, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State.
While speaking during the visit, Ambassador Ibe said, “On behalf of the good people of Orashi Region in Rivers State, which comprises Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, we the members of the delegation of the Orashi National Congress extend our best wishes to you on this historic occasion of our visit to your office”.
“The entire members of the Congress have mandated this delegation to register the profound appreciation of our people in Orashi Region to you and your men and officers for the good work you have been doing in the area in general and our region in particular, and to formerly welcome you and commend the Commissioner of Police for posting you to the area.”
“We have come to register our willingness to work with you as usual in order to ensure total security of lives and properties, promotion of peace in Ahoada East LGA of Rivers State. Our region need serious security networking and policing to be proactive instead of reactive, while we appreciates your Division for the success recorded in the area.
We lack words to express the profound gratitude of our people but all we can say is a “big thank you” and you can rest assured of our continued cooperation.”

1. Campaign against pipeline vandalism
2. Campaign against illegal refinery and kpo fire

In his remarks, CSP Jonathan Isichel promise to partner with the Congress on noble initiatives aimed at strengthening the security of lives and properties in the area. He also said that his door is open for positive collaborations while promising to be part of the forthcoming security summit and enlightenment campaign being organized by the Congress.
CSP Jonathan equally used the occasion of the visit to hint about the challenge they were having with operational vehicles and the need for more in order to ensure effective policing of the area. He equally mentioned that they have need for computers in the offices.
Amb. Emeni Ibe promised that the newly elected Local Government Chairman of Ahoada East will look into the operational challenges mentioned by the DPO.
The ONC PG is therefore, making a passionate appeal to the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA, corporate organisations and spirited Nigerians to assist the Division with operational vehicles and needed office equipment for optimal efficiency and effectiveness of the officers in the Division.
