ONC Pays Courtesy Visit To Abual/Odual DPO

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Abua/Odual area, CSP Oyeobe Lucky. 
Cisca News reports that the respected group paid the visit to the Division on Friday 23rd May, 2025.
In his speech during the visit, the President General of ONC, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “On behalf of the good people of Orashi Region in Rivers State, which comprises Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, we extend our best wishes to your division on this historic occasion of our visit to your office. On behalf of the executive council and the entire membership of the congress, the delegation has come to partner with you and to register our willingness to work with you in order to ensure total security and peace in our area from Ahoada to Abua/Odual and  Abua/Odual in general.”
“The Area needs serious security networking to be proactive instead of being reactive. We appreciate your division for the success recorded in the area of promotion of peace and security by your leadership.”

“We lack words to express the profound gratitude of our people but all we can say is a big ‘thank you’ and you can rest assured of our continued cooperation. We are proud of the achievements of the Police in the Area since your assumption office as the DPO.”

“We are committed to the following;

1. Campaign against pipeline vandalism

2. Campaign against illegal refinery and kpo fire

3. Campaign against cultism

4. Promotion of peace and security summit,

5. Operation work with traditional rulers and security agencies just to mention but a few

“We appeal to you to use your good office to support us in our forthcoming second edition of the Orashi Peace and Security Campaign across the four Local Government areas starting from 21st November, 2025.”

In his response, the DPO, CSP Oyeobe Lucky assured the ONC of his support. He gave assurance that he will look into the areas of security concern as pointed out by the group for speedy resolution of the challenges.

CSP Oyeoba said that his doors are open for collaborations with the group and other spirited citizens towards ensuring the safety and security of the people in the area.
