Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, Joint Action For Defense of Democracy, Niger Delta Youth Movement and Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria have resoundingly congratulated Mr. Iheanacho Goodluck, the former Sole Administrator of Ahoada East LGA, Rivers State, for great performance while in office.
The groups, represented by Amb. Emeni Ibe (Orashi National Congress & SYF), Sheikh Abdulrasaq Phillip Echeya (Joint Action for Defense of Democracy) and Evang. Comrade Chinyere Dennis Ejila (Niger Delta Youth Movement) unanimously sent in their commendations following misleading publications by detractors.
In a statement issued on behalf of the groups by Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, the President General of the Orashi National Congress, who doubles as the National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, they said, “We are using this medium to commend the outgone Sole Administrator of Ahoada East LGA, Rivers State, for running a performance oriented government during the brief period he was in office”.
“Mr. Goodluck deserves commendation for remaining focus on the welfare of Ahoada people even under intimidation culminating in being assaulted and forceful resignation. He indeed deserves all the accolades from any sane mind for resounding performance.”
“We equally commend him for peaceful transition and transfer of power to the newly elected Chairman devoid of violence as experienced in the past in Ahoada.”
“We must equally condemn the Pull-Him-Down syndrome that has continued to pervade the Ahoada space. We also condemn in strong terms rumours and false publications sponsored and targeted at his person even after leaving office.”
“We hereby debunk all the misleading information and rumours circulating online on different platforms as actions of mischievous minds and detractors against Mr. Goodluck. We shall continue to use every medium (print and electronic) to let the world know about his successful performance as a Sole Administrator and ensuring peaceful and rancour-free transfer of power to the duly elected Chairman of Ahoada East LGA.
