Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has convened an emergency meeting targeted to firm up preparations for the activities lined up to mark the birthday anniversary of the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof Ngozi Odu.
Cisca News reports that the emergency meeting was held on Friday, 17th October, 2025.
According to the President General of the ONC, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, the Congress, during the emergency meeting, reiterated their resolve to celebrate their Grand Patroness and Deputy Governor of Rivers State for her motherly affection and achievements.
To ensure proper organization and grand celebration, the ONC set up a committee, which will coordinate all the arrangements and activities towards achieving a successful celebration.
The Congress had days ago disclosed plans to visit Motherless Babies homes and orphanages as well as organizing Thanksgiving Service in four locations in the Orashi region at the same time.
