
Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has commended the Joint Task Force (JTF) Ahoada for its swift and decisive response in curbing crime within the region, following the recent shooting of a notorious cultist during a gun battle in the Ogbulubu Village, Edeoha town in Ahoada East Local Government Area.
The individual, identified as Mr. Dan Walson, popularly known as “General Worldwide,” was confirmed dead after engaging the JTF in an exchange of gunfire during a security operation aimed at restoring peace and stability in the area. His demise marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to eradicate cult-related violence and criminal activities across the Ekpeye and Orashi region.

Speaking on the development, the President General of ONC, Amb. Emeni Ibe, praised the JTF for its professionalism, courage, and commitment to protecting the lives and property of residents.
Ambassador Ibe said, “This operation demonstrates the positive results of strengthened collaboration between community leaders and security agencies. I charge our people to strengthen the collaboration by providing relevant security information.”
“We hereby once again encourage our teeming youths to positively engage themselves with meaningful opportunities that abound in our region and shun cult related activities and all manner of criminal actions that will endanger the lives of our people.”
