
Ojodu LCDA has reinforced its commitment to grassroots security with the flag-off of a Joint Tactical Squad (JTF) outpost facility, marking a significant stride in community policing and strategic partnership for safety.

The initiative, led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, is designed to enhance rapid response and protect lives, property and commercial activities at the Eweobaja Ultra-Modern Market and Ojodu LCDA environs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Odunmbaku emphasized that the project to be completed in three months, reflects a people-centered security approach, strengthening trust between residents and law enforcement agencies. He also disclosed plans to complete the Okeira Police Station within a year, further boosting the council’s security architecture.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, commended the initiative, describing it as a replicable model for effective community policing across local governments and that the project signals a bold step towards a safer, more secure Ojodu LCDA.
