Ojodu LCDA Begins Desilting & Drainage Restructuring To Curb Flooding In Agidingbi

In a proactive move to mitigate flooding and improve environmental management, the administration of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku in Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, has commenced desilting and drainage restructuring exercises in the Agidingbi community in Ward E.

The ongoing desilting work is taking place at Abiodun Sobajo Street, Adeleye Street, and Tade Street inside Agidingbi communal axis, which is also undergoing restructuring, as part of efforts to ensure a cleaner and flood-free environment within the Agidingbi axis.

During an inspection of the exercise, the Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Abdulsalam Olawale, disclosed that the project would extend from Abiodun Sobajo beside Agidingbi Secondary School through Tade Street and Lateef Jakande Road by Addax Mall, then terminate at the Agidingbi Technical College.

 

He emphasized the commitment of the Odunmbaku-led administration to sustainable environmental practices and continuous infrastructural upgrades to enhance the quality of life for residents of Ojodu LCDA.
