Ogun West Professionals For Yayi Lauds Historic Meeting Of Yewa-Awori Obas On Ogun West Agenda For 2027

The Ogun West Professionals for Yayi have applauded the historic meeting between the Yewa Traditional Council of Obas, led by His Royal Majesty, Oba ESV (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Asade Agunloye IV, and the Awori Obas aimed at advancing the district’s 2027 political agenda.

 

The meeting, which took place at the Palace of the Olota of Ota, His Royal Majesty Oba Professor AbdulKadir Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Arole Iganmode, was aimed at forging unity of purpose for the Ogun West district ahead of the 2027 Governorship race in Ogun State.

 

The Ogun West Professionals For Yayi, in a statement signed by Dr Morakinyo Sola Oloyede, the Media Relations Officer said, “The resolve of the Obas to prioritize the interests of the people of Ogun West through the selection of a capable and credible candidate for the 2027 Governorship race is commendable. This bold move signifies a new approach, diverging from past methods, and positions the district for success”.

 

“Our Association proudly supports this initiative, aligning with our strategic interest and programs. We enjoin our Kabiesis to further step up actions to hold similar engagement with their counterparts in other Senatorial districts of the state including strategic stakeholders in the political landscape of Ogun State. ”

 

“We urge Community Development Association, political actors. market, and trade associations in Ogun West to engage their counterparts statewide, demonstrating unity and determination ahead of the 2027 Governoship race.”
