A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Ogbueshi Allanah Chinedu Sydney, has today, 29th May 2025, in Asaba, publicly commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his remarkable performance in delivering people-focused projects and programs across the state since assuming office.
Ogbueshi Allanah, a former Deputy Governorship candidate under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2023 Delta State Governorship Election, praised Governor Oborevwori for what he described as “leadership anchored on service, vision, and compassion”.
In a press statement made available to journalists earlier today, Ogbueshi Allanah noted that the governor’s achievements in key sectors such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and social welfare are commendable and align with the core tenets of good governance.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the well-being of the people of Delta State. His people-focused leadership in the past two years has made a meaningful impact on the lives of ordinary Deltans. I urge him to remain steadfast in his mission to put the people first,” the statement read.
The APC stalwart further highlighted the synergy between the governor’s developmental strides and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing that the governor has successfully localized the federal government’s vision by tailoring initiatives to meet the specific needs of the state.
Ogbueshi Allanah called on political stakeholders across party lines to rise above partisan interests and support the governor’s developmental agenda, stressing that “the essence of good governance is to make life more meaningful for the people.”
