Odunmbaku & Running Mate, Layeni Receive Party Flags At Flagoff Ceremony For 57 Lagos APC Chairmanship Candidates

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) today officially flagged off its campaign for the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos State, presenting party flags to its 57 chairmanship candidates. Among the candidates unveiled at the well-attended ceremony were Hon. Segun Odunmbaku and his running mate, Hon. Kafaya Layeni, who received the party’s flag as APC’s standard bearers for Ojodu LCDA.

Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, charged all candidates to work harmoniously with their teams and remain connected to the grassroots. He emphasized the importance of inclusive leadership, while assuring that the party has put structures in place to secure victory at the polls.

Babatunde Ogala SAN of the APC Election Steering Committee reminded candidates to strictly adhere to electoral laws, while Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, stressed the need for loyalty to party decisions and structures.

Hon. Odunmbaku, in his acceptance remarks, expressed confidence that his joint ticket with Hon. Layeni will lead Ojodu LCDA to continued progress and victory at the polls.

Dignitaries present included the Secretary to the State Government representing Governor Sanwo-Olu, Chief Tajudeen Olusi and GAC Members, State Cabinet Members, all Councillorship candidates and party leaders.
