On my number 9 radar of those who shaped the outgoing 2025 year for me are the duo of my resourceful goons, Julius Jamiu Adebayo (Jayjam) and Ojo Opeyemi Muhsin (Ojo Moore).
Brought together on project Tinubu presidency through the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA) in 2021, Julius J. Adebayo served as the State Director (Ondo State) while I served as the group’s National Coordinator/Country Director. Nigerians saw how the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA), under my ascendancy, shook the country and controlled the waves by traversing every nook and cranny of this country. From visitations to palaces for royal blessings to grassroots engagements with the road transport unions and market men and women, it was a beautiful experience.
The NDA experience where Julius Adebayo displayed his intellectual wizardry brought us together. We synced immediately and have become more like ‘ègbón n àbúrò’ kinda relationship till this date. Again, the Daniel Bwala project has so far bonded us more.
Ojo Moore, as he’s fondly called, is more like a son to me. What we share is beyond politics, more of a father and son relationship. I knew him through his versatility on information dissemination. Coincidentally, we both worked together on Project Nnaji during the former Minister of Science, Chief Uche Nnaji’s gubernatorial bid in Enugu during the 2022/2023 electioneering, again, through Engr. Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN).
My stint with the ECN numero uno brought us more together as he (Ojo Moore) worked more closely with me. I must say it’s always a thing of joy to have him as your acolyte. Always a go-getter on any schedule.
It is often said in my dialect that sometimes material wealth is not the real asset, but the calibre of persons you have around you. As the 2iC to Dr. Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser cum Spokesperson to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on _Media & Policy Communications_, the duo of Julius and Ojo Moore have so far made the job a lot easier for me. I can actually go to bed knowing fully well the duo are capable hands that will deliver on any assignment.
Dear brothers, I am blessed beyond viva voce to have you duo shape the outgoing year for me. The fact that you are always at my beck and call is enough benison to which I always appreciate God for.
I want to seize this opportunity to thank you guys very specially for all you do for the *SPOX* and for the team as a whole. May you continue to find éclat in whatever you choose to do. Let’s do it again in the coming year.
