Mma Ekwu Na- abo Di Be Onye Ubiam

As we march down to 11th June when formal ban on campaigns will be lifted, I have sat to reflect on the November 8, 2025 election in Anambra State. Truthfully, many people would read or know about much of the other eleven (11) contestants only if we (in the APGA and Government circle) mention their names in our public commentary. It is actually a no-contest for APGA.
Journalists have called to ask for my view on Nicholas Ukachukwu (the Content creator) and his larger than life Deputy, Madam Uche Ekwunife. Truthfully, it is a union of strange bird fellows with fiercely divergent interests. Both Ukachukwu and Ekwunife are seeking totally different mandates. What is, however, certain is that Ukachukwu is one malignant tumor successfully severed from APGA. Even while in APGA, he was as unnecessary as the “P” in the word photography. In spite of the torrents of APGA’s goodwill given to him in 2019, he came a distant 4th in that election. His failure was historic and the shocks still reverberate in Anambra South until date.
Madam Uche on the other hand is on a chase for political relevance, so this election for her is just another way to keep herself in the news until next year when she would most definitely contest for Anambra Central Senate. That one too, will be another run to be in media mention until 2030 when she will contest again for Governorship when it moves to Anambra central.
I simply describe this two as “Mma ekwu na- abo di be onye ubiam, nke di nko adighi isi, nke di isi adghi nko”. Don’t ask me to translate this pls.
